Acute intracranial hypertension and nalidixic acid therapy

An acute rise in intracranial pressure in a 16-year- old woman was due to nalidixic acid therapy. There are clinical differences between drug-induced and idiopathic pseudotumor cerehri suggesting different pathologic mechanisms.
