Nonsurgical treatment of intraspinal neuroblastoma

Walter J. Molofsky, M.D. and A. M. Chutorian, M.D.

Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and The Neurological Institute, New York, NY.

Two patients with myelographically documented intraspinal extension of neuroblastoma had minimal neurologic deficit. After radiotherapy and chemotherapy, myelograms showed resolution of the intraspinal lesions. Intraspinal extension of neuroblastoma may thus be successfully treated without laminectomy.

Address correspondence and reprint requests to Dr. Molofsky, College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, MSB H-510, 100 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ 07102.

Accepted for publication December 3, 1980.
