Improvement Of stiff-man syndrome with sodium valproate

VA Lakeside Medical Center and the Departments of Neurology and Pharmacology, Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, IL.

Sodium valproate, added to a treatment regimen consisting of diazepam, clonazepam, and baclofen in a patient with progressing stiff-man syndrome, produced remarkable improvement.
