Dandy-Walker malformation in identical twins

From the Section of Neurology, Department of Medicine (Drs. Jenkyn and Nordgren), the Section of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery (Dr. Roberts), the Department of Radiology (Dr. Merlis), and the Department of Pediatrics (Dr. Rozycki), Darmouth-Hitchcoek Medical Center, Hanover, NH.

The mother of a stillborn anencephalic child subsequently had twins with macrocephaly due to a cystic malformation of posterior brain structures, compatible with the Dandy-Walker syndrome.
