Bacillus anthracis meningitis

Division of Neurology (Dr. Rangel) and the Division of Cardiology (Dr. González), Department of Internal Medicine, Hospital Universitario, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico.

Bacillus anthracis is an uncommon cause of meningitis. The characteristic hemorrhagic features in two patients who died despite antibiotic treatment are presented and discussed.

Presented at the twenty-fourth annual meeting of the American Academy of Neurology, St. Louis, April 1972.
